THE right to represent Guam in the 2012 Asia-Pacific (ASPAC) Regional Majors Little League Tournament will be determined this weekend when All-Star teams from the Northern and Central Districts square off in the 2012 Guam Little League Majors District Tournament.
All games start at 11 a.m. and will be played at the Dededo Sports Complex Field beginning Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16. The teams will play a best-of-three series with a possible game three on Sunday, June 17.
The winner will advance to the 2012 ASPAC Regional Majors Little League Tournament which will take place in Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) on July 3.
The winner of this year’s Guam Little League Majors District Tournament will compete against countries from the Asia-Pacific region for the annual trip to Williamsport, Pa. and the Little League World Series later in August.
The games are free and open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend and support the 2012 Guam Little League Majors District Tournament.
