ST. JOHN’S School is hosting their 4th annual 5K Knights Run on Saturday, April 28 at the Gov. Joseph F. Flores Beach Park, known as Ypao Beach Park.
“This year, St. John’s is partnering with Youth for Youth Guam to support ‘Youth’ month, empowering its youths to prevent bullying and violence,” stated PTA President Dorothy Chavez. She adds that a donation will be made to the Cameron Masnayon Fund in support of its message to stop violence.
Show time is 5:15 a.m. and go time is 6 a.m. T-shirts will be given to the first 500 finishers. Refreshments will be served and two round trip tickets to Japan will be raffled at the conclusion of the race.
Registration can be made at Hornet Sporting Goods or at St. John’s School on Friday from noon to 1 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. Contact St. John’s School at 646-1245 for more info.
