PFC. June Arnaiz, a soldier from the 1224th Engineer Support Company of the Guam National Guard, was named a Super Sapper at her Engineer Advance Individual Training class that graduated recently at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
The Super Sapper award is in recognition of an outstanding engineer soldier (with rank of Specialist and below) who is judged to be the best in his/her battalion, separate company/detachment. The recipient must have also distinguished themselves through exceptional performance.
Arnaiz was given the Adjutant General coin and a Star note.
The TAG coin is a commander's coin given as a special recognition to a soldier. The coin also represents affiliation, support or patronage to the organization minted on the coin and is a treasured and respected representation of that organization.
