(TFC) – The Guam Live Auditions for the first TFCkat Talent Search was held Sunday, July 29 at the Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort.
Twenty-eight contestants from all ages came and showed their best talent, hoping to be Guam’s first TFCkat Grand Winner.
TFC also received audition videos online through the TFCkat official website and the TFC Guam Facebook page. The top five among all those who auditioned were chosen by TFC’s esteemed panel of judges based in Manila. It was surely a difficult decision to trim them down to five finalists with such a great wealth of talents in Guam.
The following have been chosen to join the winning circle: Kevin Kyle Medrano, singer and guitarist from Dededo; Criskha Caballero, singer from Yigo; Alfredo Tindugan, singer from Dededo; Pamela Morton, singer from Dededo; and Izza Kathryn Rollo, singer and guitarist from Harmon
These five finalists will perform live on Aug. 12 at the Hirits & Birits show which will be held at the Phoenix Center. The TFCkat Segment will be hosted by Mr. Randy Santiago. Hirits & Birits will also feature world-class singer Jed Madela and comedian Chokoleit.
The TFCkat Guam Grand Winner will be awarded the following: cash prize of $3,000; an audition slot at the Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4 (with roundtrip airfare to Manila and accommodations for two); and guestings in TFC shows, which will be seen all over the world.
TFCkat aims to encourage “kapamilyas” to grab this rare opportunity to shine. There are several Filipinos in Guam who are just waiting to be discovered and TFC would like to be an instrument in digging up these gems.
