FREE seminars on lifestyle matters for physical and spiritual health will be open to the public from July 7 to 21 at the Seventh-Day Adventists church on South San Miguel Street in Talofofo.
The seminars are every night, except Thursday, at 6:45 p.m. Topics for the seminar will be presented by Evelyn Kissinger, former president of the SDA Dietetic Association.
The topics range from “Diet and Stress” to “Lifestyle Links for Beating Diabetes.” Each night will feature a session about physical health, “Lifestyle matters and Health Intervention,” as well as a session on spiritual health and knowledge, “Amazing Discoveries in Prophecy.”
“We want people to be inspired and live a strong and healthy life,” said Pastor Remenster Jano of the SDA Talofofo Church.
Evelyn Kissinger is a lifestyle consultant and registered dietitian. The seminars are hosted by the Guam-Micronesia Mission Seventh-Day Adventists.
Seventh-Day Adventists advocate a vegetarian dietary lifestyle based on the belief in the holistic nature of human kind.
