THE Guam Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Section is looking into the death of a 19-year-old woman who was found lifeless early yesterday morning in her Santa Rita home.
According to information provided by GPD acting spokesperson Sgt. Elizabeth Flickinger, police responded to the report of an expired female person at 4 a.m., but no other details could be provided as the case is undergoing investigation.
“Police are still investigating the case and CIS were dispatched to the location,” she stated in an email.
An autopsy was performed by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola yesterday, but no results have been released yet. Dr. Espinola stated he is waiting for slides and toxicology results, which he expects on Monday. He also stated there were no visible injuries on the woman.
