THE Guam Police Department has released a description of the suspect who robbed the Ben N’ Yan restaurant in Harmon over the weekend.
According to GPD, the robber was a male, about 5-foot-7 and was seen wearing a black shirt, shorts and shades.
GPD spokesman Sgt. Mike Aguon said the incident was reported at around 8:55 p.m. Friday night.
“A man entered the restaurant and demanded money from the cashier,” Aguon said. “The suspect then fled and was chased by a customer who was inside the restaurant eating.”
Unfortunately, the customer lost sight of the suspect, who was able to get away with an unknown amount of cash from the restaurant.
Officers who responded to the incident detained a man in the area who fit the description of the suspect. However, the individual was released after further investigation.
