THE Guam Head Start program recently announced its application schedule for May and June in preparation for school year 2012 to 2013. The program will be offered to children born after July 31, 2007 and throughout 2008.
Families who receive TANF and other types of public assistance as well as children receiving Special Education Services are qualified. Legal guardians and natural parents can register the child to the program.
Application outreaches will be held at some of the villages from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during select days.
The following are the specific schedules for the outreaches: June 11 to 14 at the Dededo Public Health Center; June 11 to 12 at the Santa Rita Mayor’s Office; June 13 to 14 at the Talofofo Mayor’s Office; June 18 to 19 at the Inarajan Mayor’s Office; and June 18 to 21 at the Mangilao Public Health Center.
Throughout May and June, the Asan Mayor’s Office will be handling applications from Monday to Thursday.
