I'M A freelance journalist in the UK.
In 2012, I'm doing a project to read a book from every country in the world. The project has been featured on CNN and in two national newspapers, and was included on UNESCO's list of initiatives for World Book Day.
I am still looking for books from several Pacific island nations and wondered whether you or your readers might be able to recommend any prose books by writers from Palau, Kiribati and the Federated States of Micronesia. If you are interested, I would be very happy to write a short article about the project, which was inspired by the Olympics, for your newspaper.
If you know of any unpublished manuscripts of short stories, novels or memoirs by writers from these nations, I would also be very interested to hear about them.
Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
