AFTER a week long search, Guam Police Department officers last night recaptured the 16-year-old Department of Youth Affairs male client, who escaped last week.
DYA director Benny Pinaula said the boy was found in Dededo.
As of press time, the boy’s case was being processed at the GPD station in Tiyan. He would be sent back to the DYA facility afterward. “I really appreciate the help of GPD and all their efforts,” said Pinaula.
The teenager, considered to be low risk, escaped from a staffer last week Friday while at a dental check up at the Mangilao Public Health dental clinic. Pinaula said the teen’s privileges will be revoked.
